There’s now a new treatment in town that has quickly surged in popularity ‑ it seems like everyone is talking about brow lamination. Either they’ve had an in-salon eyebrow lamination appointment done – and are raving about it – or they’re contemplating having it after they’ve seen the finished effect on friends (or on IG). “Essentially, brow lamination is a process where a trained professional chemically straightens your brows by combing them up and applying a solution whilst the hairs are lying flat against your brow bone,” explains M·A·C National Education Manager Ocea McKenzie. The result? Naturally thicker, fuller-looking brows that last usually six to eight weeks before they need a follow-up appointment, and better still, require little at-home maintenance; you just need to use a Spoolie bush and simply brush your brows upwards and you’re on your way.

“First you want to comb up your brows using a 204 Synthetic Lash Brush,” she says. “Then, use the Eye Brows Styler in your chosen shade to fill in any gaps.”
The next step? An unusual product choice that’s typically used to enhance the volume and finish of your lashes prior to mascara application but one that McKenzie swears by to get unruly brow hairs to go where you want them to. “Comb the False Lashes Maximiser back and forth into your brow hairs, ensuring that you’re coating the hairs at the root, then groom them into place, combing upwards,” she says.
Mist a little Fix + onto your finger and push to flatten the brow hairs down so they sit against your skin. To finish, take the Shape & Shade Brow Tint, using short flicking motion to create the illusion of individual hairs, concentrating on the areas that may be a little sparse.
