5 HOW CAN I BOOK A MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?

We'd love to do your makeup! Appointments are booked individually by store so select a location and call directly for scheduling and costs. To find your nearest store and to explore our range of Makeup Services click HERE.

6 HOW CAN I BOOK A BRIDAL OR PRIVATE APPOINTMENT?

M·A·C Cosmetics offers makeup consultations at all of our M·A·C counter locations. Consultations offer you the opportunity to work directly with our highly trained M·A·C Artists. Go to our Find Stores page to locate a M·A·C store near you.

7 HOW DO I RECYCLE M·A·C PRODUCTS?
OUR BACK TO M·A·C PROGRAM

Done with your M·A·C products? Return your clean, empty products in-store to recycle. For over 30 years, Back-To-M·A·C has recycled or recovered your used product packaging and, where possible, given the old plastic a second life. What is not recycled is converted to energy.

  1. 1. Return your clean, empty products to a participating M·A·C counter in-store.
  2. 2. If they can be recycled, they’ll be shredded, re-pelletised and used in the production of new products through our recycling partner, Close the Loop.
  3. 3. The packaging that cannot be recycled will be converted into energy. Nothing ends up in landfill.

Most primary packaging of M·A·C products is accepted as Back to M·A·C "currency". M·A·C does not accept the following as a part of the program:

  1. 1. Secondary packaging of any sort [paper box, plastic/cellophane wrapper, shopping bags, etc.
  2. 2. Samples [sample containers, special/trial size products for promotional/seasonal kits
  3. 3. Cosmetic applicators/tools [disposables, puffs, sponges, scissors, spatulas, swabs, sharpeners, tweezers, curlers
  4. 4. Accessories [bags, belts, makeup cases, lashes, Blot Film].

In addition to our "Back to M·A·C Program", M·A·C uses minimal packaging and recycled paper to paperboard packaging in our offices, manufacturing and distribution facilities. Vegetable-based inks are used for printing whenever possible. At M·A·C we share your concerns about the environment and we are continually looking for ways to address those concerns while providing our customers with complete product satisfaction and safety.

8 WHY DOES M·A·C DISCONTINUE CERTAIN PRODUCTS?

We apologise for discontinuing your favourite M·A·C product - before doing so we take into account many important factors:

1. Another similar product has been developed which we feel provides better performance.

2. One of the ingredients used in the manufacturing process has been discontinued by the supplier, and we have been unable to find a suitable alternate.

3. Customer preferences, purchasing patterns.

9 Where is my order?

Most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days (processing time does not include weekend days).

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will begin to dispatch the following Monday.

Orders with Express Shipping (for Australian orders only) will be dispatched the same day if received by 11am Monday to Friday AEST.

10 Do you ship internationally?

maccosmetics.com.au is unable to accept orders to be shipped to destinations outside of Australia. We apologise for any inconvenience. Please visit our international STORE LOCATOR.

11 How do I change or cancel my order?

Once an order has been submitted, we cannot change, add to or cancel an online order once payment has been received. If you no longer need your order once it is delivered, you can return it back to us in its original condition within 14 days of receipt by accessing our returns portal here. For further information about returns please see our returns policy here.

12 I received the wrong product, can I return it?

If your online order is not as expected, contact us and select ‘Online Order’ and include your Order Number for assistance.

13 My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

If you received damaged merchandise, please retain the box, packaging and all contents, contact us and select ‘Online Order’ and include your Order Number for assistance.

14 Why is my favourite product discontinued? Can I still purchase it?

Decisions to discontinue or introduce a product or size are made in response to consumer preferences and purchasing patterns throughout the country. Please visit your nearest STORE or EMAIL AN ARTIST who will be happy to find you a new favourite.

17 WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR A M·A·C ONLINE PURCHASE MADE IN A M·A·C STORE USING OUR ARTIST-ASSISTED IN-STORE MOBILE APP?

If your M·A·C Online order was placed in a M·A·C Store using our in-store mobile app, the full purchase price was immediately charged to your payment card at the time of purchase. Your items will ship in 3-5 business days from the date of purchase.

Please note that business days do not include weekends or bank holidays.

If any item in the order is not shipped for any reason, a full credit for the purchase price of that item will be issued to the payment card you used to make the payment.
