Don’t forget, with any purchase of both a Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation and a Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation, you’ll get a FREE 170 Foundation Brush, valued at $78.

How would you describe Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation?

Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation with a natural matte finish, and has the added benefits of SPF15,” says Mackie. “What’s great about this foundation is that it’s easy to apply, blend and manipulate for all skin types to achieve any desired coverage and finish. On clients I can change the look and feel of the foundation just be using different skincare to prep the skin.”

Can you tell us what you love about Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation?

Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is a powder and foundation compact in one, explains Mackie. “It’s quick and easy to apply and ideal for touch-ups, with its medium to full coverage, matte finish. It’s a really versatile product that can be worn alone and sponged onto well prepped skin or applied on top of your foundation with a sponge or brush.”

How do you apply Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation?

Begin by applying your regular skincare and Fix+ for hydration, says Mackie. “Apply the foundation with a 170 Foundation Brush; use a pea-size amount of the foundation starting at the centre of the face, and blend it out, making sure you take the foundation down the neck to give an even, smooth application,” she adds. “For more coverage on areas that need it, tap the brush there to build it up.”

Can you use both the fluid foundation and the powder together?

“As a duo, Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation and Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation are the perfect combination!,” says Mackie. “Apply the foundation with 170 Foundation Brush and use Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation over the top with the sponge that comes in the compact for a full coverage that’s flawlessly matte”. If you’re looking for a lighter powder application, Mackie recommends using the 116 Blush Brush or the 129S Powder/Blush Brush.

Pro tip: Mackie recommends regularly wash the foundation sponge and allow it to dry completely before touching the powder again as this will change the consistency of the compact.

How can you customise the finish of the foundation to suit you?

While every skin tone is different, you can customise your foundation finish in a number of ways.

If you want to boost luminosity, start by smoothing on Strobe Cream prior to foundation, or add some into your Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation to get a radiant glow, says Mackie. “You can also apply a touch of the Prep + Prime Essential Oil Stick to the cheekbones and down the nose and chin to highlight!,” she adds.
For those that have a drier skin type, Mackie recommends prepping the skin with Fix+: “I really push this product into the skin with the 170 Foundation Brush,” she says. Then, you could apply Prep + Prime Essential Oil Stick and Studio Moisture Cream to really nourish the complexion, or Complete Comfort Cream for a dry sensitive or irritated skin type to help soothe.
